FinFolio is a personal finance app designed to help you plan goals, track investments, and manage your financial life. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, what we do not collect, and how your information is handled.

Your Financial Data

We do not collect, transmit, store, or share any of your personal financial data.

All financial information you enter in FinFolio — including goals, investment amounts, portfolio values, transaction history, and retirement projections — is stored exclusively on your device as a local database file. This data never leaves your device and is never sent to any server, including ours.

What We Collect

Firebase Crashlytics

We use Firebase Crashlytics (by Google) to collect anonymous crash reports. When the app crashes, a report is sent that includes:

Crash reports do not contain any personal information, financial data, or any content you have entered in the app.

Firebase Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics (by Google) to collect anonymous usage data. This includes:

Which features are used (e.g. goal created, snapshot added)

Device type, OS version, and general region

Analytics data does not contain any personal information or financial data. No individually identifiable information is collected.

We do not collect any financial account numbers, PAN, Aadhaar, or identity documents
We do not collect your investment values, goal amounts, or any financial figures you enter
We do not serve ads
We do not sell data to third parties
We do not require account registration

Data Storage and Security

All app data is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for keeping your device secure. FinFolio provides a backup feature that lets you export your data to Google Drive or any service of your choice — this is entirely at your discretion and under your control.

Children’s Privacy

FinFolio is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
